Lustau
The Lustau winery was founded in 1730 in Jerez de la Frontera, in the province of Cadiz, in the south-east of Andalusia. Pedro Domecq Lembeye's business perspective, at the forefront of those times, developed the business inherited from his uncle in 1794 in an exemplary way, so much so that the company was handed down from generation to generation to the present day. In 1992 the Domecq group became a leader in the Wine & Spirit sector in Spain. Lustau is known for the production of Sherry, the most famous wine in Spain. It is produced in the restricted geographical area of Jerez and its origins date back to about 3,000 years, it is thought that the first to approach this wine were the Phoenicians or the Greeks. Sherry is a unique and inimitable wine, it represents the true essence of the terroir of origin.
