Li Ciuri
Li Ciuri is an emerging reality in the province of Trapani, which immediately achieved particular success even among the most demanding connoisseurs thanks to the uniqueness of its wines, pure expression of the terroir of origin. Starting from the labels, which represent the majolica of Caltagirone, handcrafted ceramic artefacts, typical of the city of Messina, continuing with the name, which in the Sicilian dialect means "The flowers", to testify the ancient bond with this land: the wines Li Ciuri tell the story of this land of a thousand colors in every detail. The flagship of the Li Ciuri brand is undoubtedly Nero d'Avola , a rich and balanced red, but the winery is also known for its typical Sicilian whites: dal Grillo , which stands out for its citrus scent and its unmistakable salinity, with Zibibbo , with the aroma of fresh fruit, accompanied by herbaceous hints of sage. The range ends with Syrah , a red from an international grape variety, which in Sicily has been able to find the right soil to fully express its character.
Li Ciuri White Wine
The white wine Li Ciuri, in all its varieties, enhances a specific character of Western Sicily: in the Grillo we find the aromas of citrus fruits and flowers typical of this land, in the Zibibbo, the freshness and brackish of the sea. The range of white wines then continues with Catarratto , with a strong but soft and mineral taste, and with Inzolia, produced from the oldest white grape variety in Sicily. Li Ciuri white wines therefore express all the facets of this island rich in unique terroirs and native vines: labels definitely worth trying, available on Vino.com.
