In 1881 Antonio Jerman, after leaving Austria, moved to Villa Nova di Farra to found his company in the heart of Friuli Venezia Giulia . Thus over time the Jermann family, thanks to its passion for wine, managed to win a place at the top of Italian and world wine. Jermann wines are the perfect expression of the Collio area, renowned for its whites with a unique character and for its robust and extraordinary reds. Silvio Jermann
Silvio Jermann, crowned in 2016 as the most representative producer of Italian white wines in the world, was the real driving force of the company, with his constant pursuit of excellence, with his absolute respect for the land and its rhythms, to which are added the characteristics of a unique winemaker, innovator and visionary since he was a boy, so much so that he thought of the concept of "blend" when it did not yet exist. An innovator, a true pioneer of wine whose work can be summed up in his motto “That day I thought: I make a wine as I imagine it”.
Jermann white wine
Jermann's most famous white wine is Tunina, born when Silvio Jermann, a young winemaker and friend, went against the tide and vinified the best grapes, pinot bianco and sauvignon especially from the Tunina vineyard. The result is a pale golden yellow wine, joyful and brilliant, with a wide, fat and sensual bouquet and a dry taste without harshness and sagging.
