Jameson
Jameson is the reference name for Irish Blended Whiskey, a brand that has become very important in the distillation of whiskey in recent years, quickly reaching international fame since its foundation. The distillery was founded in 1780, when John Jameson, having perfected his distillation technique, decided to open a distillery in Dublin, which still exists - even if the company headquarters has recently moved to Midleton, County Cork. Selection of the best whiskeys, stills and cereals, three distillation steps and aging of at least 4 years in oak barrels, are today as then the winning recipe of Jameson, which gives a typical and characteristic taste to whiskeys, especially thanks to its renowned softness.
