Inessa
A legend reports news on the ancient Sicilian city of Inessa from which our wines derive their name. There is a character who lives in mythology as a symbol of duplicity: it is the Satyr Silenus, tutor of Dionysus, the god of wine who, in addition to excess, embodies the geometry of life. The Satyr remains a fascinating figure, a guide who initiates the life of the woods and establishes a particularly intimate relationship with nature. The legend that binds the satyr to the ancient city of Inessa strengthens the bond between Dionysus, son of Zeus and Semele, and the satyr Silenus: just around Inessa, the latter decides to initiate the god of wine to the surprising promises of the drink after Semele is incinerated by the thunderbolt of the king of Olympus. Inessa reproduces this sumptuous heritage with an Etna Rosso, a fine blend of Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio, an austere, elegant and structured wine. On the other hand, Etna Bianco is a wine that shines with minerality, balance and freshness, a successful combination of acidity and softness that in the herbaceous and fruity tones resolves all the ambivalence of our two intoxicating figures.
