Frescobaldi
A noble Florentine family with over 700 years of winemaking history, that of the Frescobaldi, which for 30 generations has dedicated itself with passion, experience and skill to the production of great wines. The company's philosophy is based on solid and absolute principles, such as respect for tradition combined with openness to a great desire for experimentation, love for the territory and a continuous search for excellence.
From the Chianti area to the Pomino area, from Montalcino to the Maremma, the Frescobaldi estates and their vineyards, thanks to a perfect knowledge of the environment and the uniqueness of the terroir, give life to wines of great quality and personality.
Frescobaldi: from the best vineyards
Frescobaldi chooses the most suitable territories for the vineyards, respecting the Tuscan territory and its extraordinary peculiarities, choosing the best Sangiovese Grosso for its Brunello di Montalcino , enhancing the native vines for Chianti Classico or experimenting new combinations at the ultra-modern Tenuta Ammiraglia, in Maremma, where the Alie rosé is born, an admirable blend of Vermentino and Syrah . Another estate of extraordinary importance for Frescobaldi is Pomino, the first estate in Tuscany to successfully experiment with Chardonnay grapes. Tradition and modernity, for an ancient company that looks to the future.
Frescobaldi red wine
Red wine is for Frescobaldi the pulsating engine of the company, for its historical value with labels such as Chianti Classico from Tenuta Perano, Brunello di Montalcino Castelgiocondo, Morellino di Scansano from Tenuta Ammiraglia. These are noble expressions of the native Tuscan vines, first of all the Sangiovese. Frescobaldi, however, is also synonymous with wines of great depth obtained from international vines, just think of Mormoreto, a happy marriage of Cabernet and Petit Verdot, or of Luce, which combines Sangiovese with Merlot.
What is the best Frescobaldi wine?
Luce is considered Frescobaldi's best wine. Now in its twenty-fifth vintage, this wine was born from the collaboration between Frescobaldi and Robert Mondavi, and is today a Super Tuscan wine appreciated all over the world, awarded every year by international guides.
From which grapes is Remole Frescobaldi white wine born?
Remole is one of Frescobaldi's oldest wineries, and here the Remole white wine is born, which combines Vermentino and Trebbiano in a glass of fresh aromas: it is a wine born to be shared, perfect to bring to the table every day.
