Collemassari
Collemassari is now a well-known name in Italy and beyond, a synonym of quality and experience, deeply linked to the Tuscan territory and its extraordinary evolutions. The company, founded by the brothers Maria, Iris and Claudio Tipa, constitutes a real “domaine”, distributed over three estates: Il Castello di Collemassari since 1998 in the Montecucco area in Alta Maremma; the Grattamacco farm in Bolgheri since 2002; and, since 2011, the Poggio di Sotto farm, a true classic of Brunello di Montalcino.
Supertuscans and award-winning wines make up the Collemassari line, which has distinguished itself over the years for the production of both the main grape of the region, Sangiovese - which finds maximum expression in the Brunello Poggio di Sotto and Montecucco DOC - and also in the typical varieties French present in the territory of Bolgheri. Grattamacco and Brunello Poggio di Sotto make up the two icons of Collemassari, collectible wines, which have received international appreciation from lovers and critics from all over the world.
