Col Vetoraz
Col Vetoraz rises on the Veneto hill of the same name next to the “Mont” of Cartizze in S. Stefano di Valdobbiadene, on the top of the mountain, in an area bounded to the east by the locality Fol and to the west by Sacol. It was the Miotto family who founded the company in 1993, carrying on a tradition spanning over a century: the cultivation of Prosecco Superiore and Cartizze Superiore vines that have brought the company to the top of the world of Italian bubbles. The hills of Valdobbiadene are the undisputed homeland of these DOCGs, where the physico-chemical composition of the soil and the beneficial temperature variations of day and night make it possible to produce the most recognized and requested Charmat method sparkling wine in the world. “Preserve, respect and not alter”, these are the rules of Col Vetoraz's production philosophy.
