Château Pesquié
Château Pesquié is a family estate located in the Ventoux appellation, south of the Rhône Valley, of which it is recognized as one of the first pioneers. Its colorful, elegant and complex wines derive from the particular microclimatic conditions of this terroir that combine a higher altitude than other wineries in the southern Rhone Valley with a consequently cooler climate. And from the mineral variety of the soil on which the vineyards live, characterized by a happy alternation of different types of clay.
The main grape varieties of the Rhone Valley, especially Grenache and Syrah, enjoy slower and longer ripening over time with beneficial effects on the richness and expressiveness of the fruit. Particular attention is paid to the natural heritage in terms of biodiversity and the environment, with a cellar well integrated into the landscape on which it is possible to access for the delivery of the grapes from the roof and to let the grapes descend to the lower floors solely by gravity.
