Castello Romitorio
The Castello Romitorio winery takes its name from the solid fortress dating back to the 12th century that stands on a hill near Montalcino, Siena. The company's vineyards are located in two distinct areas of Montalcino, north-west and south-east, enjoying some of the best microclimates of Montalcino, and a third estate has recently been acquired in the Scansano area. In the cellar of Castello Romitorio, recently renovated, between oak barrels and works of art excellent Tuscan wines rest and mature, the result of a work that makes quality its production philosophy and passion its guideline.
