Caffo
An ancient entrepreneurial history, which has its roots in the 19th century, when Giuseppe Caffo began distilling pomace on the slopes of Etna and, later, bought a distillery in Santa Venerina, realizing his dream. He transmits this passion of Ancient Master Distiller to his descendants who, year after year, strengthen the family business to found the company "Fratelli Caffo - Distilleries of alcohol, brandy and tartaric", formed by Sebastiano, Santo and Giuseppe Caffo, who decide to take over an existing plant in Calabria in Limbadi, a town at the time famous for the production of fine red wine. In 1966 the company will be totally acquired by Sebastiano Caffo with his son Giuseppe Giovanni, who is still at the head of the group today, perpetuating the family tradition together with his son Sebastiano Giovanni. A story whose fil rouge is precisely the passion for their work, and their products are authentic examples.
