Bottega
The history of Bottega begins in the seventeenth century with the figure of a character of Andrea who was already growing vines in the Treviso area in 1635. The name Bottega was to refer to a family made up of tenants of the Counts of Collalto until the attempt of the members to set up on their own as direct farmers allows them to gain independence. In the 20s of the twentieth century Domenico Bottega gave prestige to the winery as an expert oenologist and in the 50s he began the production of grappa with Aldo Bottega. In 1977 the Distilleria Bottega was founded in Pianzano di Godega (Treviso) which immediately showed a new entrepreneurial impulse. Today the distribution of Bottega wines and liqueurs has crossed national borders and represents a true reference for wine and spirits lovers. Great attention is paid to every moment of production, with attention to the territory and craftsmanship. The production phases are designed according to sustainability, confirming the interest in protecting the environment through practices such as saving water, reducing CO2 and chemical emissions, and recycling waste materials. Headquartered in Veneto in Bibano di Godega, between the Venice lagoon and the Dolomites, Bottega has broadened its horizons with the management of a winery in Valpolicella and Montalcino, integrating its identity with the production of great reds such as Amarone and Brunello .
