The sparkling wine company Bortolomiol was founded in 1949 by Giuliano Bortolomiol: it was he who took care of the enhancement of the abandoned vineyards on the hills of Valdobbiadene, contributing, if not establishing, a revaluation of Prosecco, which becomes in his hands, from a local product little appreciated in a prestigious all-Italian sparkling wine, loved and appreciated all over the world. "Son of art" with the innate talent for sparkling wine that he cultivated in the famous School of Enology in Conegliano, Giuliano Bortolomiol became a true master in the application of the Martinotti-Charmat method and his experimental vein led him to produce the first Prosecco Brut. Giuliano Bortolomiol's dream came true in 2009, with the establishment of the Prosecco Superiore DOCG and the spread and success of this sparkling wine internationally.
Today the company is in the hands of Giuliano's 4 daughters, an all-female management that adds a particular sensitivity towards the environment and people to the solid principles of product quality and bond with the territory in the traditional sense. takes the form of projects in the ecological and humanitarian fields. Its wines are among the most iconic, awarded, sought after and drunk in the world, just think of Prosecco Bandarossa, a delicate straw-yellow sparkling wine, produced according to the Charmat method with a delicate bouquet of white flowers, which takes its name from a habit by Giuliano Bortolomiol, who made a mark on the bottles of the best annual selection of Prosecco Extra Dry, to be enjoyed with his closest friends. And then again Il Filanda Rosé, a very prestigious pink sparkling wine that celebrates the women of the spinning mills of Valdobbiadene, whose hard commitment has contributed to the crowning of success for this area of origin.
