Bacardi
Bacardi, the name of a 150-year history in a symbol, that of the bat. It was the founder's wife who chose this symbol, Doña Amalia, who finds a colony of bats among the ships of the distillery and decides to adopt it as a symbol of the company, since bats were traditionally the symbol of knowledge and it was thought that they carried luck, prosperity and good health. The Bacardi company is still owned by the family today, and bears the name of the founder, Facundo Bacardí. After Don Facundo decided to open his first distillery in 1862, his son plants a coconut palm at the entrance of the factories: it soon becomes a good omen for the company. Today Bacardi, after almost two centuries of history, is the most suitable rum for mixing, with more than 300 awards won internationally behind it, the most versatile rum that everyone likes.
