Description

The Windswept Sauvignon Blanc of the False Bay winery is made with 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes in the Stellenbosch area within the South African Coastal Region.

A few kilometers from the sea and therefore affected by the oceanic climate, the grapes undergo the effects of the night breezes for an ideal phenolic development. After the harvest carried out strictly by hand in the early hours of the morning, we proceed with the de-stemming and fermentation takes place in a natural way. The wine obtained remains in contact with the lees for 5 months before being filtered and bottled.

Straw yellow in color with greenish reflections, it has herbaceous aromas accompanied by hints of tropical fruit of great aromatic concentration. On the palate it shows verticality and a refreshing touch, for an excellent structure supported by the vibrant tones of fresh herbs and with a medium-long finish.

Ideal with shellfish risotto and spicy oriental dishes.
