Description
The Vouvray Brut Blanc Foussy by LaChateau comes from the renowned Loire Valley, from vineyards planted on clayey soils.
The production process follows the traditional method, with the second fermentation taking place through refermentation in the bottle, and then continuing with a refinement of 18-24 months on the yeasts at a controlled temperature of 12°C.
It has a pale straw yellow color, with a fine and persistent perlage. The nose opens with distinct hints of white flowers and mineral traces combined together in a perfect balance. In the mouth it is fine and elegant, with a lightness that accompanies the tasting experience until the final stages.
Perfect to serve with fish-based dishes, including smoked ones, and with seafood.
