Description
In the heart of Vosne-Romanée, Vigneux of the Domaine Jean Tardy & Fils is born, from a soil composed of gravel, clay and limestone, a geological mosaic that offers the ideal conditions to enhance the expression of Pinot Noir.
During the harvest, only the bunches that have reached the perfect level of ripeness are harvested. The winemaking process begins with a pre-fermentative maceration at low temperature, followed by alcoholic fermentation which lasts for 18-20 days, allowing for optimal extraction of color and tannins. The wine then matures in oak barrels for 16-20 months.
It has an intense ruby red color. On the nose it evokes sensations of strawberry and raspberry, embellished with delicate herbaceous notes and a touch of vanilla. On the palate it is rich and structured, with soft and well-integrated tannins that accompany towards an enveloping and persistent finish.
Perfect to accompany red meats and game-based recipes.
