Description

Sicilia Vittoria Frappato di Planeta rises from the Mogli vineyard, in Acate, in the province of Ragusa, in a land rich in red sands that is positively affected by the proximity of the sea.

It is produced exclusively with grapes of the rare Frappato variety, harvested manually in the second week of September. It is the result of a fermentation with maceration in contact with the skins for 7 days. After malolactic fermentation, the wine remains to refine in steel until bottling.

It is characterized by a ruby red color with purple reflections. The nose is dominated by characteristic notes of rose and candied violet, with elegant smoky tones to close the picture. On the palate it is intensely fruity, closing on a finish of good persistence with balsamic tones.

Perfect to accompany first courses with meat sauce, it is ideal in combination with fresh cheeses and mushroom or onion soups.
