Description
Petal Spumante The Wine of Love Manzoni Moscato Rosé from Bottega was born from the passionate and precious selection work carried out in the early 1900s by prof. Luigi Manzoni, principal of the Oenological School of Conegliano, during a series of hybridization tests.
It is produced with Manzoni Moscato grapes, a cross between Moscato and Raboso grapes. After the classic vinification processes, the second fermentation takes place by fermentation in an autoclave, according to the Charmat method, at a controlled temperature with selected yeasts.
It is characterized by a cherry pink color, by an abundant and persistent foam, and by a fine perlage. The nose is intense, delicate and refined, characterized by a rose aroma that is accompanied by fruity notes of cherry, raspberry and ripe citrus and spicy notes of sage in the finish. On the palate it is sweet and fragrant, harmonious and balanced, it has a freshness due to the acidic and tannic component able to compensate for the high sugar content.
Ideal as a sweet wine for celebrations of holidays and anniversaries, it is indicated to accompany the moment of dessert, both based on pastries and dry desserts.
