Description
Casa Sartori’s Metodo Classico Extra Brut Cuvée 1898 is produced with 100% Durello grapes, coming from the hilly vineyards of the Lessini Mountains, between the provinces of Verona and Vicenza. These vineyards, trained with the Veronese pergola system on basaltic soils, give the wine a particular minerality and aromatic complexity, typical of the local terroir.
The grapes are gently pressed and fermented in steel at a controlled temperature, to keep the aromatic characteristics of the vine intact. Subsequently, the wine referments in the bottle according to the classic method, ensuring a fine perlage and an elegant structure, enhanced by a creamy foam.
Bright straw yellow in color, this sparkling wine has a refined bouquet with notes of toasted bread and citrus. On the palate, freshness and minerality stand out, accompanied by fruity hints that lead to a long and clean finish, with a pleasant and harmonious persistence.
Cuvée 1898 is perfect as an aperitif and pairs very well with delicate fish dishes or cream desserts.
