Description
The Classic Method Brut Alta Costa sparkling wine from Tenuta San Francesco is made from Biancazita and Biancatenera grapes grown in the Tramonti area, on the Amalfi Coast, in terraced vineyards with steep slopes at an altitude of 300 to 600 meters above sea level. The vines, cultivated using the traditional pergola system, benefit from a cool climate with strong temperature fluctuations, which enhance the aromatic finesse and lively freshness of the wine.
Harvesting takes place between the end of September and the first ten days of October, followed by steel vinification that preserves the purity and varietal elegance. Secondary fermentation occurs in the bottle, where the wine rests for about 42 months on the lees, before disgorgement and an additional bottle aging of 2-3 months, ensuring complexity and taste persistence.
Visually, it presents a bright straw-yellow color and a fine, persistent perlage. The bouquet is fragrant and refined, with citrus, floral, and fruity notes, enriched by elegant mineral nuances and hints of bread crust. On the palate, it is savory and mineral, with a particularly refreshing acidity and a long, harmonious finish.
It pairs perfectly with an aperitif featuring seafood starters, offering a refined experience as an ideal companion for relaxing moments with friends after a meal.
