Vino Spumante di Qualità Metodo Classico 2018 Beni di Batasiolo
Description
This Classic Method Sparkling Wine is produced in Italy using Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. The harvest is manual and takes place at the beginning of September, guaranteeing the selection of the best grapes to obtain a high quality wine.
Winemaking involves soft pressing of the whole grapes and fermentation at a controlled temperature of around 15°-16°C. In spring, the cuvée obtained from the blending of the various wines is bottled and subjected to a second fermentation directly in the bottle. The refinement takes place in the bottle on its own fermentation lees for a minimum of 36 months.
The wine has a deep straw yellow hue, clear and brilliant, with a very fine and very persistent perlage. The aromatic expression is very intense with evident notes of yeasts, bread crust, aromatic herbs, acacia flowers and honey. On the palate it is broad, harmonious and very persistent, reflecting all the notes perceived on the nose.
Perfect as an aperitif or after-meal wine, thanks to its structure it can accompany an entire meal, from starters to cheeses, through pasta first courses and fish second courses, white meat, feathered game and even grilled red meats.
