Description

The Brut Duca Rosé sparkling wine of Duca di Salaparuta comes from vineyards in central-southern Sicily located at an average altitude of over 200 meters above sea level

It is obtained from 100% Frappato grapes, one of the native red vines of Sicily. After a short cold maceration on the skins and the soft pressing of the grapes, the must is vinified at a controlled temperature and made into the sparkling wine in an autoclave according to the Charmat method. The sparkling wine ages for 6 months on its lees before being bottled.

Pale pink in color, it has a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose there are aromas of violets and small red fruits. The sip is fresh and sapid, lively.

This sparkling wine is perfect as an aperitif and can also be enjoyed with crustaceans and molluscs, as well as white meats.
