Description

The Extra Brut Marquise Sparkling Wine by Serafini & Vidotto is produced in the Montello - Nervesa della Battaglia area from entirely Pinot Noir grapes. The vines grow on clayey limestone soil which contributes to the aromatic richness and structure of the wine.

The harvest, which takes place by manual collection in boxes, and the vinification, which involves soft pressing and fermentation in steel, are followed by a combined refinement between steel and tonneau. The wine is then left to refine on the yeasts for 60 months, giving it remarkable complexity.

It is characterized by its intense straw yellow color. The bouquet is sophisticated and complex, with delicate aromas of dry pastries, lemon dessert, beeswax, cedar and pink grapefruit, enriched with subtle notes of toasted hazelnuts. The bubbles, creamy and enveloping, integrate perfectly with the crisp acidity of the wine, while the finish is vibrant and mineral.

This sparkling wine pairs perfectly with aperitifs, starters and fish-based dishes.
