Description
The Ronchedone di Cà dei Frati red wine comes from vineyards located in the southern part of Lake Garda, on the hills of Desenzano.
It is produced with Marzemino, Sangiovese and a small percentage of Cabernet, macerated in steel with prolonged contact. After malolactic fermentation in barrique, the wine ages in barrique for about 14 months, then rests in the bottle for a further 10 months before being marketed.
It has an intense red color. The bouquet is rich and decisive, with notes of red fruits, macerated blueberries and morello cherries in alcohol, enriched with pleasant balsamic and jam aromas. In the mouth it is incisive and powerful, with a good flavor and a balanced acidity.
Perfect to accompany red meats with medium or long cooking preparations, it is ideal in combination with game, mature cheeses, first courses and soups with a rich taste.
