Vino Frizzante Bianco Scialàri Principi di Butera
Description
Scialàri is a sparkling white wine produced by Principi di Butera, a winery located in the heart of Sicily, near Caltanissetta, and is owned by the Zonin family.
The wine comes from a blend of native grapes, harvested in early September. After the soft pressing of the grapes, the must obtained is placed in steel tanks for static sedimentation, followed by fermentation at a temperature of 16 °C. Subsequently, the wine refines for 4 months on the fine lees before proceeding to second fermentation in pressurized tanks.
Pale straw yellow, the nose opens onto a floral bouquet of white rose, jasmine and orange blossom, with fruity notes reminiscent of pear. The sip is light and lively, characterized by pleasant mineral notes.
It is very pleasant as an aperitif and also goes well with seafood salads, raw fish, crustaceans and molluscs.
