Description
The Dry Passito of the Island of Ischia Giardini Arimei of Arcipelago Muratori comes from vineyards located in the municipality of Montecorvo, in an area characterized by the Mediterranean and windy climate.
It is produced with a skilful blend of Biancolella, Forastera, Uva Rilla, San Lunardo and Coglionara grapes, harvested during the span of 3 seasons, with 7 consecutive harvests. The grapes are subjected to skin maceration in the millstone and added to the fermenting must. Subsequently the wine ages in oak barriques for about 18 months and ages for a further 6 months in bottle before being released on the market.
It is characterized by an intense amber color. The nose opens with hints of tropical fruits and dried fruit, enriched with notes of honey, flowers and spices. On the palate it is soft and aromatic, with a pleasant acid flavor.
Perfect to accompany dark chocolate, it is ideal in combination with dry pastries and aged cheeses.
