Description
Contacto Alvarinho is produced by the Portuguese company Anselmo Mendes and was born in the regions of Monção and Melgaço.
The wine is made up exclusively of Alvarinho grapes, harvested manually and immediately brought to the cellar for destemming and subsequent short maceration on the skins. Once squeezed, the must undergoes a brief clarification and is subsequently fermented at 14-18 ° C. Finally the wine refines on the fine lees for at least 3 months.
Golden yellow in color with orange notes, mineral and citrine aromas dominate the nose. The sip is elegant and structured, characterized by a bitter finish.
It goes well with fried fish and vegetables, grilled white meats and fish and shellfish dishes.
