Description
The Hussonet Gran Reserva of Haras de Pirque, a Chilean estate owned by the Marquises Antinori, is born in vineyards located in the northern part of the Maipo valley, in Chile.
It is produced with Cabernet Sauvignon, Carménère and Merlot grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. After vinification, which takes place particle by particle, the wine is subjected to malolactic fermentation and left to refine for at least 12 months in French oak barrels and for a further year in the bottle.
It presents itself to the eye with an intense red, while the nose is accompanied by toasted notes of cocoa, caramel and aromatic herbs that recall the fresh landscapes of the Andes. On the palate it is soft and intense, with well-developed silky tannins.
Perfect to accompany grilled red meats, game and aged cheeses.
