Description
This Vin Santo from the Pieve di Campoli winery comes from vineyards located in the province of Florence, in the historic Chianti Classico area.
It is obtained from a blend of Malvasia del Chianti and Trebbiano Toscano grapes, harvested and placed on reeds for drying. It is the result of slow fermentation in oak barrels and aging in the same containers for at least 48 months.
Golden yellow in color with amber reflections, it opens to the nose with an intense and ample aroma of dried fruit, dates and caramel. In the mouth it is harmonious and soft, with a consistency similar to velvet.
Ideal both as an aperitif or in the company of spicy cheeses. Recommended with a tray of Prato cantuccini.
