Description

The Vigneti delle Dolomiti San Leonardo of the homonymous estate was born in vineyards located in Vallagarina, in the extreme south of Trentino.

It is produced by assembling different grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Carmenère and Merlot. The grapes are harvested during September and October and subsequently vinified and aged separately. Maturation takes place in cement vats and in oak barrels for 18-24 months, before aging in the bottle for a further 12 months.

It is characterized by an intense ruby red color with garnet reflections. The nose opens with intense hints of green pepper, followed by sweet notes of berries on a vanilla background. In the mouth it is pleasantly warm, with great roundness and an intense and extremely long aromatic persistence.

Perfect to accompany red meats, noble poultry and roasts, it is ideal in combination with braised meats, stewed meat, game and mature cheeses.
