Description
The vineyards of the Dolomites Teroldego Sgarzon of Foradori was born in the vineyards of Sgarzon, Mezzolombardo and Campo Rotaliano, conducted under biodynamic conditions, in the province of Trento. This wine takes its name from the term "sgarzo", which means branch, in the Trentino dialect.
It is produced exclusively with Teroldego grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. The fermentation and subsequent aging takes place for a total of 8 months, both in contact with the skins, in Villarobledo tinajas, of Spanish amphorae that allow this variety to express and preserve its potential in terms of biodiversity.
The Sgarzon of Foradori has a dark garnet red color. The nose opens with intense aromas of blackberry and blueberry, enriched with spicy hints and small wild flowers that flow on a clear mineral trace. On the palate it is fresh and balanced, full and round, with well integrated tannins and a pleasantly long and harmonious finish.
Perfect to accompany pasta dishes and red meats, it is ideal in combination with game and aged cheeses.
