Description

Teroldego is produced by Cantina LaVis with one of the native red grapes of Trentino. The company was founded in 1948 and is based in Lavis, in the province of Trento.

The harvest of the Teroldego grapes takes place at the beginning of October, followed by the vinification in cement with fermentation with selected yeasts. The wine ages in French oak barriques for 5-6 months before bottling.

Ruby in color with violet hues, the aromatic profile on the nose is reminiscent of ripe fruit, from blackberries to blueberries and plums. The sip is dry and soft, with a good persistence.

It can be enjoyed in combination with cured meats and roasted and grilled red and white meats.
