Description
The Müller Thurgau Sòfi by Franz Haas is a white wine from the Trentino Alto Adige region. The vines grow on mixed clay and porphyry soils located between 500 and 800 meters above sea level. These pedo-climatic conditions, together with the solar exposure to the south and south-west, contribute to defining the distinctive character of this wine.
The grapes are carefully harvested and subjected to a short maceration to favor aromatic extraction. After delicate pressing, the must ferments at a controlled temperature in steel tanks, where the wine remains to refine for approximately five months. Subsequently, it spends a short period in the bottle before being released on the market.
To the eye it presents a lively straw yellow colour. On the nose, the wine expresses a bouquet of aromas reminiscent of muscat, fresh fruit, peaches and flowers such as yellow primrose. On the palate, it is elegant and savory, with a very pleasant finish that balances the fresh acidity with a convincing simplicity, seducing from a young age.
This Müller Thurgau Sòfi by Franz Haas is the ideal accompaniment for aperitifs, light first courses of Mediterranean cuisine, fish salads and fresh goat's cheeses. It is an excellent companion for enhancing the flavors of delicate dishes with its freshness and aroma.
