Description

The Vigneti delle Dolomiti Fojaneghe Conti Bossi Fedrigotti was born inside the homonymous Cru, Fojaneghe, of Masi, in the historic Bossi Fedrigotti estate, located in the municipality of Rovereto, in the province of Trento. This label represents the first example of Bordeaux blend in Italy, the excellence of this Trentino estate.

It is produced with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Teroldego grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place, with maceration in contact with the skins, in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature for 25 days. Subsequently the wine ages for 18 months in French oak barrels, before being bottled.

It has a ruby red color tending to garnet. The nose opens with intense aromas of berries, enriched with pleasant notes of vanilla. On the palate it is dry, balanced and elegantly structured, with a velvety and persistent finish.

Perfect to accompany red meats and game, this red wine is ideal in combination with seasoned and spicy cheeses.
