Description
The Nosiola of the LaVis winery is produced with one of the native white grapes of Trentino, the Nosiola. The company was founded in 1948 and is based in Lavis, in the province of Trento.
The grape harvest takes place at the end of September, followed by soft pressing and vinification with fermentation with selected yeasts at a controlled temperature in steel vats. The wine ages on the lees for 5-6 months before bottling.
Straw yellow in color with greenish reflections, the aromatic profile on the nose recalls jasmine, lychee and hazelnut. The sip is fresh and aromatic, with a discreet persistence.
It can be enjoyed as an aperitif, with pasta and risotto with vegetables or fish and with roasted freshwater fish.
