Description

Tenuta Castel Sallegg's Cuvée Elisa is a harmonious white wine, born from a blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio and Pinot Bianco grapes. These varieties combine to create a wine capable of expressing the complexity of the Alto Adige terroir.

The vinification involves the separate harvesting of the different varieties, followed by a soft pressing of the grapes and a fermentation at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then refined on the fine lees, with frequent bâtonnage, to increase its fullness and structure.

It has bright straw yellow reflections, the bouquet presents fresh notes of freshly cut grass, accompanied by fruity hints of apple, grapefruit and ripe apricot. On the palate it is fresh and smooth, with a well-integrated acidity that gives balance and a good persistence.

It is perfect as an aperitif or paired with fish and vegetable starters, pasta-based first courses and goat cheeses.
