Description
The Vesuvio Rosso Montagna from the Sorrentino winery is made with Piedirosso and Aglianico grapes.
The vineyards from which the grapes come are located on rich volcanic-sandy soils at an average altitude of 250 meters above sea level. After the manual harvest completed towards the end of September, the grapes are fermented in steel to preserve the fragrance of the fruit. The creation of the blend and bottling follow.
Of medium intensity ruby red color, it has hints of red fruits such as raspberry and wild blackberries, finished with a sweet spiciness. On the palate it is fresh and slender, with soft tannins, good structure and a medium intensity finish.
Ideal for roasts and grilled meats, it goes well with first courses based on meat sauce.
