Description

The package contains 2 prestigious Allegrini wines.

Allegrini's Palazzo della Torre red wine is one of the wines that has made Allegrini's production famous throughout the world.
It is mainly produced with Corvina Veronese grapes and with Rondinella and Sangiovese grapes, vinified separately. The refinement of the wine takes place in second passage French oak barriques for 15 months and in the bottle for another 7 months.
Deep ruby red in color, the nose opens with intense aromas of black cherry, carob and figs, enriched by elegant notes of coffee and nutmeg. On the palate it is full-bodied, velvety and harmonious, with a prevalence of ripe and pulpy fruity hints.
Perfect to accompany saffron risotto and porcini mushrooms, it is ideal with typical first courses of Italian cuisine, such as Amatriciana and Carbonara, grilled meats and roasts.

Allegrini's Grola is produced mainly with Corvina and Oseleta grapes, vinified in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 20-28°C for approximately 15 days. The wine ages for 16 months in second passage French oak barriques and for a further 10 months in the bottle.
It has a compact ruby red color. The nose opens with intense aromas of redcurrant and plum, enriched with hints of vanilla, black pepper and coffee. On the palate it is elegant and harmonious, a wine of great refinement capable of evolving positively for over a decade.
Perfect to accompany red meat and roast dishes, it is ideal in combination with lamb, kid, stewed or grilled mushrooms and mature, non-spicy cheeses.
