Description
The Garganega Duchessa Allegra is produced by Massimago, a Venetian winery founded in 1883 by the Cracco family and led since 2003 by Camilla Rossi Chauvenet. The company is located in Mezzane, in the province of Verona.
It consists of 100% Garganega grapes, which are briefly macerated and then fermented in steel tanks with selected yeasts. The wine ages for a few months on the fine lees in the same containers.
Straw yellow in colour, the nose has aromas of green apple, grapefruit and citrus fruits. The sip is crunchy and slightly mineral, with a discreet persistence.
Ideal with roasted fish and seafood first courses.
