Description
Vernaccia Isola Bianca originates from the vineyards owned by Teruzzi, a reference reality belonging to the well-known Terra Moretti group, located in the localities of Racciano and Ponte Rondolino, within the San Gimignano district. We are located in deep clayey soils of Pliocene origin. On the label are represented killer bunnies, bizarre example figures of the drôlerie formerly used as decoration of the margins and initials of illuminated manuscripts of the Gothic era.
After a skin maceration of the grapes and a soft pressing, the must ferments at a temperature of 16 ° C in stainless steel tanks, inside which the wine remains to refine for 4-5 months.
It reveals itself to the eye of a straw yellow color. The nose is a parade of fresh and delicate fruity notes that are accompanied by mineral notes. In the mouth it denotes good freshness, structure and persistence, with a pleasant aftertaste of slightly bitter almond.
Very drinkable wine indicated as an aperitif, it goes very well with appetizers and elaborate fish-based dishes.
