Description
Vermouth Carlo Alberto Rosso Superiore Riserva is the combination of rare ingredients and ancient procedures that require great experience and skill. His recipe, born in 1837 by Tumalin Bartolomé Baracco de Baracho inspired by the aperitif wine that the court cook prepared for the King. Vermouth Riserva is produced with two Piedmontese DOCG wines, Moscato d'Asti and Erbaluce Caluso, flavoured with 27 different types of herbs and spices. The design of the bottle follows in every element the Piedmontese architectural tradition, such as the colonnade of the Gran Madre in Turin, with Art Nouveau evolutions typical of the upper part.
Brown in colour with coppery reflections, it expresses itself on the nose with hints of cherry, plum and wild herbs to which notes of sweet spices are added in the finish. In the mouth it is balanced and warm, sweetly spiced, with a dry and dry finish with fruity references.
Excellent to be tasted neat for an important aperitif.
