Description

Telavé is the Vermentino di Sardegna DOC from the Antichi Poderi di Jerzu winery. It is produced starting only from Vermentino grapes from the Ogliastra area, grown in the hilly area that goes as far as the eastern coast of the region. The granitic soil gives minerality and freshness to the grapes while the marine climate gives, also thanks to the action of the winds, sapidity to the final wine.

The grapes harvested with early harvest are fermented in white, after which they are sent to the refining phase which takes place for about 4 months in stainless steel containers with temperature control.

In the glass it has a straw yellow color tone with lively greenish reflections. The olfactory perception revolves around the aromas of white wild flowers and mandarin peel, and then leaves room for notes of thyme and almond typical of the grape of origin.

White as an aperitif, it is more than happy to sip in the company of seafood: shellfish and fish above all.
