Description
Vermentino Su'Orma comes from the sunny and windy vineyards of Su'entu . Su'Entu in Sardinian dialect means "the wind" because this is the main element of this land. The soil, calcareous and clayey, gives the wine excellent minerality.
After a strictly manual harvest carried out in the first half of September, the grapes are vinified by pressing and soft pressing the grapes, decanting the must and fermenting at a temperature of 16 ° C in steel. It matures in steel and in tonneaux for at least 6 months, on its lees and with periodic bâtonnage.
It satisfies the sight with a bright straw yellow color with reflections that tend to golden, and presents itself to the nose elegant and complex, with splendid notes of yellow flowers such as chamomile and ripe fruit. On the palate it is confirmed as a great wine, with an excellent structure and a fine softness: a wine with good longevity and depth.
It is the most suitable wine to accompany elaborate and well-structured, rich and tasty dishes. Must try with truffle tagliatelle.
