Description

Vermentino di Sardegna Is Argiolas from Cantina Argiolas is born in vineyards located in the homonymous estate, in Selegas, Sardinia.

It is produced exclusively with Vermentino grapes, harvested strictly by hand in the early hours of the morning. After careful selection, the grapes undergo a soft pressing with the use of only flower must and are cooled down to 10-12 ° C. The wine then ferments on indigenous yeasts at a controlled temperature of 16-17 ° C for 25-30 days, then stops on the fine lees for 40 to 60 days.

It is a wine with a pale straw yellow color, enriched with greenish reflections. The bouquet is intense, delicate and persistent, with hints of wild and herbaceous flowers and pleasant notes of yellow peach. On the palate it is lively and fresh, with a good flavor. Overall it is a balanced and delicate wine, very fine.

Perfect to accompany fish appetizers and risotto, it is ideal in combination with first courses with fish, stewed and grilled fish and white meats. Excellent even if served with medium-aged cheeses.
