Description

NOI 150 Verdicchio di Matelica Riserva DOCG is a white wine produced in the Marche region. The grapes come from a selection of the best vineyards of the Belisario members, located at an altitude of 300-400 meters above sea level, with south and south-east exposure and loose soil. The vines are aged between 10 and 44 years.

The winemaking takes place off-white, with the grapes being harvested in 200 kg bins and subsequently refrigerated at -10°C for 24 hours. Fermentation, which lasts approximately 25 days, is temperature-controlled and takes place at a temperature of 16°C, using selected yeast. The wine matures in 50 hl seasoned wooden barrels, without clarification.

The wine has a straw yellow color with golden reflections. On the nose, it offers aromas of ripe fruit, honey and almond. On the palate, it is structured and complex, with notes of dried fruit and good acidity, which give balance and a long finish.

It pairs perfectly with fish dishes, white meats and mature cheeses.
