Description

This Verdicchio originates in the Marche area of Matelica, precisely in the Monacesca district. The vineyard used covers an area of 17 hectares, with mainly clayey soils and north-south exposure.

The harvest takes place in October. This is followed by a gentle pressing of the grapes and fermentation, both alcoholic and malolactic, in steel tanks. Stop for some time on the fine lees and finish the bottle aging.

Its color is pale straw yellow, with reflections on greenish tones. The nose opens to fruity and citrus hints, inserted on an anise trail and an almondy finish. In the mouth it shows a good correspondence with the olfactory profile, together with the freshness and flavor. A full structure supports the sip.

Suitable for first and second courses of fish. Recommended in particular with seafood risotto.
