Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico DOC Titulus 2017 Fazi Battaglia

Verdicchio Titulus , with its characteristic amphora-shaped bottle, is the symbol of the Fazi Battaglia winery. This wine is born in the heart of the Marche hills, in particular in the classic production area of Verdicchio dei Castelli Jesi.

Produced exclusively from carefully selected and hand-picked Verdicchio grapes in the twelve owned plots, Titulus undergoes a fermentation process inside stainless steel tanks for a period of 15-18 days. Afterwards, for a better maturation of the aromas and the complexity of the body, the wine is left to rest for a long period in steel tanks.

With a pilgrim yellow color with greenish reflections, the nose has an intense bouquet made up of fruity notes of peach and apple that are accompanied by delicate and fragrant hints of rose. On the palate it expresses great thickness and freshness which close on a pleasant bitter almond finish.

The structure of this wine has a perfect versatility that allows it to accompany seafood dishes such as fish soups, seafood salads or more delicate oven-caught fish dishes, as well as land and white meat dishes.
