Description

Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore Casal di Serra Vecchie Vigne was born in ancient vineyards located in the municipality of Montecarotto, in the province of Ancona.

It is produced exclusively with Verdicchio grapes, harvested only by hand in late September. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16-18 ° C for 10-15 days. Subsequently the wine ages in the same containers for about 5 months and for a further period in the bottle before being placed on the market.

Casal di Serra is characterized by a straw yellow color with golden nuances. The nose opens with intense aromas of wild flowers, enriched with pleasant fruity hints of peach, medlar and Golden apple. On the palate it is rich and velvety, with a good dose of freshness and flavor. The wine has a dry, persistent and intensely fruity finish.

Perfect to accompany fish and white meat dishes, it is ideal in combination with roasts and fresh cheeses.
