Description

The Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Riserva Plenio by Umani Ronchi was born in the Villa Bianchi vineyard, located in the characteristic village of Cupramontana.

It is produced exclusively with Verdicchio grapes, harvested by hand between the first and second ten days of October. Fermentation takes place partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in barriques at a controlled temperature of 16-18 ° C for 10-15 days. Subsequently the wine ages in barriques for about 12 months and for another 6 months in bottle before being released on the market.

Plenio is characterized by an intense straw yellow color with golden reflections. The nose is fresh and penetrating, with hints of ripe fruit, enriched with pleasant notes of honey, bitter almonds and aromatic herbs. On the palate it is fresh and soft, pleasantly velvety and rich, with a persistent finish and with an aftertaste of apple, plum and almond.

Perfect to accompany first courses and fish dishes, it is ideal in combination with white meats and roasts.
